I am happy to work with any medium, but I prefer to use oils. I specialise in pet portraits, landscapes and abstract artworks.
I am inspired by the works of William Turner, David Shepherd, Hazel Soan and would describe myself as a compulsive traditional /contemporary artist.
I teach art techniques to local residents on a weekly basis, inspiring others to be creative and develop a sense of self-worth.

Glenda Maynard was born in the East End of London and moved to settle in Wells, Somerset in 1989. After joining an Art Group based in Radstock in 2004 as an amateur, she discovered that her self taught skills led her to selling and exhibiting at a professional level.
