Cafe del Ponte

Really not impressed. Of course, it’s early days for them, but they don’t have it together. No hours posted, bland décor, employees sitting around chatting, no sign on the façade… it just feels unfinished at present.
Flat white was awful. More like a bad cappuccino with a burnt taste. There is amazing coffee at Ocean Bell’s just down the street. The owner of this place needs to take a short walk and check out the competition to see how it should be done.
Given the location at the top of the high street, and lack of attention to detail, I will be surprised if this place stays in business for longer than a few months or whenever their contingency funds run dry.
Hopefully, they get it figured out quickly, but I have my doubts they will pull it off.
