What can I say about this fine establishment? Turn the clock back 7 hours to when I started my drinking session in the One Crown Public House just a 2 minute walk away with a couple of friends. Bay Jaysus, t’was a great night… 18 pints of Guinness and a bag of pork scratchings, whilst being entertained by a barmaid in a bear skin. Hunger being what it is, after 18 pints and several dodgy cigarettes in alleyway by the the beer garden, and not on licensed premises, note, I followed my nose to the Alibaba Tandoori. I ordered the hottest dish on offer, made with a lot of chillies and some unknown meat. Whilst eating this concoction, I suddenly developed severe stomach cramps and had to run to the toilet and I can tell you now, that what was coming out was dark brown, and stank like a mixture of rotten eggs and B.O. Thankfully he’d just finished cleaning the toilet so I could take a crap. I would rate the overall experience as a generous 7 out of 10.

Very friendly restaurant, food isn’t quite as good as café India at the other end of town but the service is excellent. A good choice overall.

Very good Indian in central Watford. Owner always gives a warm welcome and the food is always good. They also do a cheap Sunday buffet

Friendly Indian takeaway and delivery from the centre of Watford. Staff always seem very friendly and take time to talk to you. Very nice food, used as our regular Indian takeaway. Can recommend the prawn purée and onion bhajis! On rare occasions they have been known to forget items, but this has always been rectified with replacement/discount on future orders.
