All their silverware bears their own hallmark and until recently was only available in exclusive stores but today it is now available through their website Hersey & Son.
History
Established in 1971.
The founder of the company, Michael Hersey, established the business in 1971 having served 17 years as a silver spinner in Soho. His son, Stewart, joined him in 1981 after training as a silversmith at London Guildhall University. He has since taken over the business, moving it forward and bringing new designs with him.
Stewart’s aim is to produce silver gifts for everyone. In addition to the tableware, M. C. Hersey & Son Ltd also produces a select range of sterling silver jewellery. For men, various designs of silver cufflinks are always popular. The silver bracelets and bangles or the new hand-made silver chain bracelet are always stylish for ladies.
Recently, a ranges of silver earrings, silver necklaces, silver keyrings, silver photograph frames and armada dishes have been introduced.
