I love this place. My wife took me as a treat to see X-​men and was blown away by the ace customer service and that I can sit on a sofa and have a pint while watching the movie.
Would have been 5 stars but it was a real pain to book with vouchers what they sell online but do not let you book online with them and that was really annoying. This should however not take away from the great staff and ambiance they have. An ace evening out!

It may not have the flashy sound systems of newer cinemas, but it has charm. Having a bar is a rare thing these days! There is also a fantastic Italian a few foods down.

This is a lovely local little cinema with 2 screens and costing about £7.50 a ticket.
If you book your tickets online you have the option of getting sent an sms ticket, so you just show that when you get there, and there is a bar, and… they sell ice cream down the front of the screen just before the film starts. That excites me because it is so old school and it’s rather rare. In fact, i don’t remember the last time i saw it.
They show the blockbusters, but also have different film seasons. There is currently a French one on.
Today i saw UP and it was great. The cinema was full of screaming, restless kids, but i managed to zone out and enjoy the Pixar goodness.
