The Codfather is a fish and chip takeaway located halfway up the market hill. I’ve eaten from here a couple of times and although the food’s good, it’s nothing to write home about. Having said that it’s cheap and ideal if fancy grease overload! The guys who work here are friendly and the place seems quite popular with shoppers, especially since the new Asda store opened opposite.
