There are loads of eateries at X-scape and it’s just a pity that a group comprising mainly under 16s ended up here. The food(in the form of an all you can eat buffet) was average(perfectly edible but uninspiring) and I suppose of a standard one expects at a high volume entertainment complex. The place was clean and looked sufficiently oriental to whisk the diner if not to China at least to a curb outside a house owned by people of Chinese decent. Now, the Flaming Dragon chain advertise a fixed price of £5.99 for diners under 16 but what they don’t tell you is that you have to have proof that you are under 16 in order to qualify so the 12 and 13 year olds in the group had to pay full price. If you are X-scape and simply must have Chinese then I suppose it will do but if you just need to eat then there are loads of better options. If you have children don’t even think about going here.

A very basic all-you-can-eat restaurant, a bit like a school canteen. Plenty of choice — the crispy duck and pancakes was great, and loads of main courses. Good price for kids(£5 inc soft drink for under 16’s). I’m sure we’ll go back — although not a good choice if you’re watching your weight!
