Gorgeous local pub in the small village of Fordcombe. Especially good for its cute garden with a stunning view of the countryside from the back. A perfect place to spend a warm summer afternoon with a pint of cool cider. Its never over full either so you are guaranteed a good spot on a picnic bench. The interior is equally welcoming and the food is very good. Not particularly cheap but its reliably good quality and a nice place for a Sunday lunch. There is also a good range of drinks and welcoming staff. The décor is traditional pub territory — without being too cliquey and locals only.
