Convenient place to go for a brew. Expensive almost £2 for 1 cookie and its a bit lack lustre. One member of staff was brilliant and went out of his way to make my partner a milkshake even though in the wrong que. Most people would have made him que again. Expensive for what it is. For these prices I expected more.

An old school café tucked away in Trentham Gardens that I’ve been to a few times to write away on a Sunday whilst the BF has a freelance gig nearby. It can be a little cold as the doors are often left open so wear layers but the coffee is OK, especially at £1.75 for a filter. Plus they offer a loyalty card with a free drink after just 4 drinks which I have never seen before and I have a lot of loyalty cards in my burgeoning purse. Cadwalders offer take-out cups too which always keeps the drink warmer and the cup is easier to handle along side a laptop,. There is a good choice of lunch staples too and it’s a popular place for midday meals despite there being many cafes within Trentham Garden. The service is always lovely and they only seem slightly surprised when I arrive as I’m the only one ever in there with a laptop working away. Oh and they are known for their ice-cream which has a separate queue of of the door come rain or shine.
