Alarm bells always ring when I see such a small establishment offering so many menu choices. Not only does The Masala Bangaldesh Take Away offer hundreds, from Rogan Josh, Dupiaza, Karahi, Muglai to Balti and Thali specials, but it also offers ‘curry in a tray with chips’ and southern fried chicken. Hmmmm… how can all of this be fresh?
Well, I have tried one dish from here and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I think it might have been a Lamb Tikka Masala or something similar, but the Lamb was real, the flavour was authentic and the sauce tasted fresh. It’s not the best Curry I’ve ever had, but for a quick filler on the way home after a night in the pub, it does the job.
