We are known for the quality of our daily fresh fish specials and our own fantastic fish soup and Waterside fish pie. Our mussels are rated the best in the area. However, the steaks are not that bad either along with confit duck, lamb tagine and a wide selection of starters and sweets.

We like to think we also have the best pizza (also to take away) & burgers in Totnes.

Our wine list of 60, with 24 by the glass, are all at excellent prices and are available to take away at £10 off per bottle!

History

Established in 2004.

Matt & Delphine Buzzo were respective;y Head Chef & Manageress of the fish restaurant «Live Bait» in Notting Hill and wanted to own there own business and for Matt to return to the Westcountry. Waterside Bistro was established in March 2004 and has been a fantastic success story!

With a bar area seating 32 and offering local ciders, ales and excellent wines, a bistro area of also 32 covers and an outside terrace right next to the River Dart, it is the place to come rain or shine.

Coffee & cakes are available 9.30 to 5pm every day, breakfasts from 9.30 to 11.30, lunch 12 to 2 and dinner fro 6 to 9.30pm.
