The menu has a wide variety of foods, and all looked worthy of the fork. The burger was tasty and fresh, and the chips were perfection. A well balanced mocha from the barista was especially good. Daily seasonal specials posted on the board. The best thing about this stop was the most pleasant server… Give this gal a raise!

A solid restaurant outside of arrivals in Terminal 1 on the ground floor. I’ve personally eaten their Eggs Benedict, Carbonara, Pulled Pork Salad, Egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, and the Brownie with ice cream dessert. All were good, although I would say the best was the Pulled Pork Salad, followed by the Eggs Benedict with Ham Hock. Both are delicious, but the salad portion is a bit small and not suitable if you are very hungry.

This is probably the worst food I’ve had throughout my UK trip. The spaghetti bolognaise was so oily that when I ran my fork through the meat, oil oozed out. Save your money, get something from whssmith or somewhere else instead.

I have just arrived at Terminal One Manchester Airport after having been travelling for the last 18 hours and feeling the wish to enjoy a standard, ordinary British style sandwich & nice cup of coffee before braving the rain for the final leg of my journey home. I walk through arrivals after awaiting my luggage for ever (well, slight exaggeration but it was almost last onto the carousel & I was starting to think it had decided to stay the other side of the world!) and I spotted this a establishment so ventured in. What a real disappointment. Though they did seem to be doing hot meals (fish & chips etc) I went to the sandwich stand & EMPTY! At half one in the afternoon… I asked at the counter to be told ‘oh we’ve got none as we’ve a bit if a problem but Spar over there have sandwiches’. So, if I get a sandwich, can I bring it in here & buy a coffee to have with it? An abrupt ‘no, you can’t eat stuff I. Here you’ve not bought here’. But surely if you can’t supply the ‘fresh sandwiches’ your display boards refer to then it’s not my fault and I will buy a coffee — still no!!! So I left with no coffee or sandwich… poor service and no attempt to try to resolve what effectively is their short falling. I cannot comment on the hot meals section but the coffee shop/​sandwich/​cake section is not recommended on the basis of what I found today. Wait & go elsewhere !
