I’ve two experiences of the O2 store — both very positive, and both concerning the iPhone. The first one was to do my preauthorisation — which went very well, and when i asked to find out when the store opened on July 11th, i was told that he couldn’t tell me that, but that the doors to the town centre opened at 6am. Nuff said. The second time was the buying of the iphone itself. Not a problem there, staff friendly(if a little stunned to see the queue that had developed). All staff knew exactly what to do, and the morning appeared to go well — even when systems failed staff knew what to do and were just waiting for permission to use the backup paperwork. I was very pleasantly suprised. Top marks to them for a good launch.
