Richard Harbury Stonemasonry provides an historic and listed buildings and period property conservation, restoration, maintenance, cleaning and consultancy service.

With a specialist knowledge gained from a concise portfolio of work experiences in stone and lime combined with a special interest in this field, stonemason Richard Harbury and his associates are respectful of the ethics, technical and traditional requirements and specifications involved in caring for old buildings and structures.

Building services include stone and brickwork repair, re-​pointing, plastering, rendering and cob, flagstones, flooring and paving, all walling styles from fine ashlar to mortared rubble, flint work and dry stone.

We also provide the design, production, supply and installation of architectural stonemasonry and stone carving including fireplaces, window and door surrounds, bird baths, arches and Objet d’art, letter carving including house name and number plaques, date stones and monumental works.

History

Established in 1996.

Somerset stonemason Richard Harbury is based in Taunton and runs Richard Harbury Stonemasonry.

Experience and interest working in construction and architecture since 1984 encompassing many aspects from site labourer to qualified architectural stonemason and carver.

Special interest in building and buildings.
