Fast, thorough, evidence-​based and effective help for many issues including anxiety, confidence, phobias and recovery from post-​traumatic stress.

Training included NICE recommended EMDR for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other issues, and I have a vast range of therapies to enhance with hypnosis. If one doesn’t work, very often another will. This approach can reach more people than hypnosis alone.

Clinical Hypnotherapy often features in descriptions for hypnotherapists, but look closer and training often was not really ‘Clinical’ at all. In my case it is utterly genuine. I put safety and professionalism first. ‘Clinical’ may sound formal, but it just means that every step of my training was aware enough to ensure your safety, often in ways that less trained hypnotherapists do not even realise are important.

History

Established in 2010.

I co-​directed and facilitated sessions at the original Chenara — a Cotswold therapy centre in 1991 – 93.

Years later, in 2010 Chenara Hypnotherapy was formed. I now had clinical experience and training — which I feel are essential to ensure patient safety.

My background is ideal for evidence based, safe hypnotherapy. It includes nursing experience with a wide range of conditions in highly regarded London hospitals as well as being a Practice Nurse at a GP surgery. This affirmed the importance of getting the best clinically safe training I could find, with university accreditation. I am trained to Practitioner level and also tutor individual students for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.
