Nando’s

Who doesn’t love a Nando’s? I love «fast food» in the UK. So much tastier and fresher than I’m used to. This one is very convenient as there is free parking under the Tesco’s and they serve until 9 or 930 pm depending on the day.
I got a quarter chicken with a posh side of luso beans, but then the staff told me they were out. They felt badly about it and instead said I could have any sides I wanted — so they brought ratatouille, sweet potato mash, and rice without charging me any extra! That was very kind of them and then I got to try more food. The lemon and herb isn’t my favorite as it’s a bit too tangy for me, but I’ve enjoyed the medium and the mango and lime before at other Nandos’. The sides were all really nice — the sweet potato mash especially was lovely, and my chicken had a crispy skin and was plenty of food for me. My boyfriend always gets a half chicken, but a quarter will generally do it for me.
Great place to grab a casual dinner if you’re too busy to cook, and I really appreciated the quality of service!
