Copy Color were the first Company to offer colour laser copying in the West with the Canon CLC 1

First to offer large format BubbleJet copying to A1 size.

1991

Relocated to larger premises in West Swindon. The first full colour digital bureau service in the region. Awarded the ACCC Certificate of Exellence for achieving the highest standard of service in colour copying

1994

Developed and introduced PosterJet — a software RIP capable of printing full colour images and scans or computer generated files to A0 and beyond

I was brought up in the early days of Colour Copying and witnessed the birth of the digital print industry that we operate in. Bernard and Chris had started Copy Color in 1986, hard work and the embracing of new technology the company was ahead of the competition when I joined in 1993. My first 5 years were spent in production learning about the company from the ground up. This early exposure into the world of colour, printed matter and the different production processes involved has since proved invaluable. Promoted to production manager in the late 90’s before taking on the client account management role.

In 2003 I and Bernard completed the management buyout of Copy Color. Many early starts and just as many late nights have been required to allow us to build the the foundation of the new larger company, however six years on we are still performing well, working just as hard and embracing the ever newer technologies that present themselves.
