Alfresco Childcare offers flexible childcare in a relaxed homelike environment on domestic premises at an hourly rate, without any session restrictions for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Our opening hours are between 8am and 6pm.

We are a Forest Preschool offering a learner centred approach through the natural environment.

We are a vegetarian nursery with fish and all meals and snacks which are included include home grown vegetables and fruits from the Alfresco garden.

We accept 2, 3 and 4 year old government funding and we accept childcare vouchers from all companies.

We pick up and drop off from local schools and offer a holiday club during schools holidays.

History

Established in 1995.

Our Owner Susan is committed to ensuring that children feel secure and safe and are able to express themselves positively through playing and exploring the natural environment.

To build on the owner’s commitment our Manager also ensures that the curriculum is delivered in the nursery to meet the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage framework.
