Hurst Dene

In Swansea there are not a lot of tourists. They tend to go to Cardiff (to be fair, I did hear they were filming the vastly popular third season of the BBC’s ‘Sherlock’ in Cardiff). So Swansea is the little town on the coast of Wales with the rock and roll pubs and stretched out beaches that is largely devoid of the camera clicking masses.
This makes Swansea a cute little town full of heavy accents and friendly people. Some of those friendly people own the Hurst Dene bed and breakfast style hotel-​meets-​appartments inn.
The rooms are small but manageable, they are clean and the showers warm. Your stay includes a hot, traditional English breakfast in the morning; that after long nights in rock and roll pubs, hits all the right spots.
I’d recommend the Hurst Dene to adults traveling through or in Swansea, it’s a friendly little place in a friendly little town.
