We are a pet friendly self catering holiday let on the edge of the beautiful Gower Peninsula in South Wales. We sleep up to 8 guests in comfort in four double bedrooms and there is ample off road parking for 3 cars to the front property and a secluded garden to the rear. We welcome multiple pets at no extra charge and children will enjoy playing with the many games and toys provided whilst the adults relax in the spacious rooms.

The Gower Peninsula is becoming increasingly well known as a holiday destination with its beautiful sandy beaches and quiet countryside. There are a large number of festivals and events on the Gower and around Swansea Bay throughout the year, so remember to check out our short breaks for visits out of season, when you will still find plenty to fill your days. If you enjoy touring you can visit the Brecon Beacons or Pembrokeshire in an easy day trip and if you like to participate in golf, surfing or other activities on your holidays then there is plenty on offer in the area.

Gower Edge used to be our home before we moved for work so we are happy to make suggestions for trips and recommendations for lesser known venues around the area. We hope we will be welcoming you, your family, friends and pets soon. Thanks for looking!

History

Established in 2007.

We started letting Gower Edge as a holiday let when we had to move from the area for work. Our children grew up here and went to the local school and we feel very privileged to have lived in such a beautiful area of the country. We now love sharing it with others and hope to provide a home from home for your visit to Swansea and the Gower.

I sort out the social media side of the business and Louise a friend at the school where I now work, and another lover of the seaside sorts out the bookings. We now also have Alison on call locally to deal with any queries you may have during your stay so hopefully we have all the bases covered! We are all committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible so thanks for giving us that chance.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Southampton and then migrated North to Leeds to go to University where I met my current husband (keep him on his toes!). Arrived in Swansea via Bristol and Bridgend and then took root and raised a welsh family in Killay and Dunvant for 19 years. Science teacher by trade, both then and now but love keeping the link with Swansea through our holiday let. Currently living in Warwick and dreaming of the sea!
