Established in 2002.

John and Jane established this independent salon from it’s current location in 2002.

The team has created a relaxed, friendly environment, all receiving on-​going inspiration in house and at Bumble University and Aveda.

2014 saw the expansion into the next door premises, with the opening of our Beauty and Holistic spa. Aveda beauty treatments, Reiki and Reflexology, luxurious experience.

Business Owner

John’s priority is that clients should leave the salon feeling good about their hair and themselves. He has a great sense of humour and loves his clients and the team. Passionate about all things hairdressing since he left college to pursue his career, he trained in top salons in Scotland, taking his skills to Sydney, Australia for a while before opening his first salon in Rose Street, Edinburgh.

London called him south where he worked for exclusive salons in Soho and Wimbledon, trained in management and has now realised his dream of opening John Fraser Jenkins salon in partnership with Jane in 2002. His strengths are in both women’s and men’s cuts suiting the client’s lifestyle and self-​image.
