Priced similarly to Lime restaurant just down the road and offering equally pleasant food and customer service, this local Indian restaurant is incredibly popular, yet offers a remarkably average(if not below average) dining experience. The restaurant’s narrow interior is laid out as a corridor, much longer than it is wide, and although this makes the place deceptively spacious, it also means that many of the tables are far too close together. Chairs and tables all look modern and inviting and red carpeting and wall paint make for a slightly romantic atmosphere, yet on my visit, the cutlery was dirty and the low level lighting inside made the place feel a little dingy and unpleasant. The place definitely lacks Lime’s high-end, plush ambience and in my experience, the service here is much slower to boot. The food was reasonably good, but the place is definitely let down by its lack of attractive atmosphere.
