This long established local business has a great reputation and is well thought of in Sutton Coldfield. People travel across the area to get their British favourites from here and you can’t blame them. There is a wide range of choices plus pizza delivery is also available all made from fresh by the owner using his own pizza oven. There are a range of fresh toppings available. The owner and his staff are friendly and helpful and there is a large service area to wait to escape the winter rain. Service is quick, unless you want something specialised which the staff will cook fresh for you. The take away is clean and the quality of food is excellent! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a chippy!

Experienced the WORST customer service I have ever received in my entire life! I ordered my food online choosing the options of delivery and payment by card, about 5 minutes after I successfully placed my order I received a phone call from New Oscott Fish Bar advising me that my order would be cancelled due to being out of the radious for delivery. I asked the radius for delivery as I hadn’t seen anything online to advise and I wasnt further that a few miles away (which you would think would be covered for the £2 they charge for delivery) but was just advised I was too far away with no further information. I then asked when I would receive a refund as I had pre payed by card to be told «I dont know». I told the man on the phone he must be able to give a customer an estimated credit time frame but I was told again «I dont know». At this point I told the man that «I dont know» simply isn’t good enough for him to then tell me «2 days until you will receive your money back» I questioned why he wouldn’t say two days previously as I felt he was just trying to cut the conversation short and was providing me with false information which lead to him rudley telling me «it’s not my problem». As a customer I was mortified with being spoken to in this manor so I asked to talk to the manager, the man responded «I am the manager». Personally I have never received customer service as poor as this before let alone management customer services! I am a manager myself and would not dream of talking to a customer in this unprofessional, unconcerned, discourteous way, neither would I allow my staff to. I have been a customer at New Oscott Fish Bar for over 10 years buying at least two pizzas a month (family pizza night) and was disgusted to be spoken to how I was. I will never provide this company with my custom again! There are plenty of other companies in the local area who can provide me with pizza and a much higher standard of Customer service/​management skills. I have also advised family and friends to do the same. When ordering beware! Pay in cash and if you experience an issue, expect the worst customer service you will have ever received from the owner/​manager and a ruiened evening. To write a review I unfortunately have to give a star rating however, my honest rating for this review is 0 stars for this unprofessional establishment!

Love this place. Really tasty food and served quickly. Staff are lovely and they do gluten free fish and chips every monday. Its seems to be open everyday also a bonus.

Ideally located near a pub, a retail park and a giant DIY store, New Oscott Fish bar is on to a winner. For chippy tea on the way home from a hard day’s shop, it’s cornering the market. Chuck in easy access from Kingstanding, New Oscott and Boldmere and the location seems better and better.
This means it’s a busy venue, but that’s no bad thing as it assures a regular turnover of battered treats and golden chips. Branching out, like so many, into kebabs and especially pizza, there is even more choice for those who have had it with haddock. And how often do you see this? It goes gluten-​free one day week.
As for how often you go gluttony-​free is down to you, but it may be trickier to be good once you factor in helpful parking outside.

This family run fish bar offers great food for a great price and is somewhere to go when you are looking for nice fish and chips. Once again this is a takeaway place where you can get all the traditional takeaway food such as; fish, fried chicken, pies and pizzas.
What I like about this place is the fish. They serve tasty fish, better fish than some of the other fish bars within the area. It’s not just me that loves their fish; quite a few other people do as well; as there are usually a few people in there.
The staff knows how to handle this because there’s always a fast paced service; so you won’t be stood in there for too long. If you are looking for reasonable priced meals, they do have that as well; so you are bound to find a great meal.

Praised locally for its great-​tasting pizzas and benefitting from several staff-​members and a stellar location, this family-​run fish bar is the perfect place to go for a Friday night takeaway. The staff are quick, helpful and very efficient and New Oscott Fish Bar even offers its own local delivery service for those living within a 2 mile radius.
There are always plenty of meal deals on offer and the staff try their best the make sure that Fish, sausages, pies and southern fried chicken are always ready to go, in order to keep queuing down to a minimum. New Oscott’s curry sauce is the real business and the Fish Bar never fails to deliver fast, friendly and impressive customer service.
