Established in 1979.

J Geach and Son Property Maintenance was first formed in Smethwick in 1979 by John Geach. John was an apprentice at Edwin Danks Oldbury Ltd in the Black Country where he learned his skills as a handyman. John was an apprentice in the Building Maintenance Services department. One day John found himself out of a job he decided to go it alone and formed John Geach Property & Home Repair. John’s vision was to form a home maintenance company offering an affordable and reliable building maintenance services to home owners which was very successful. Today J Geach and Son Property Maintenance still offers’ an affordable and reliable service to its customers and is committed to providing high quality customer service and satisfaction. With the introduction of new skills into the business J Geach and Son Property Maintenance is able to offer a ‘One Stop Shop’ for all Handyman, Home Repair, Renovation, Home Maintenance and Home Remodeling needs. I am the owner of J. Geach and Son. I started working with my Dad in 2000 although my Dad will tell you that he used to sit me down with a hammer when I was a toddler and hold nails while I knocked them in to the floor boards. Anyway I have been doing this full time since 2010 and have grown my business in that short amount of time.
