dont go .my grandson went to go bananas sunderland .they had large ice cream display outside of entrance it was placed on uneven ground it feel on top of my grandson causing a bad injury which needed hospital treatment .the manageress said she did not see what happened as she was inside the building When questioned the next day the manageress stated the display unit was on secure ground(very unlikely as all the ground is uneven)2 children were climbing and that the childs grandmother was not watching the children and that it was her fault. She accused us of just wanting compensation which is not true we just want to make sure the no other child is injured or worse. they are not concerned about childs safety they just want your money. they never even wanted to know if my grandson was ok

We decided on a lovely trip to the soft play with my 1 year old autistic son and niece and nephew. After being charged £4 each to get in(disgraceful!) we realised non of the children were monitored by staff! We had to wade in and rescue my nephew after children attacked him in the ball pit, my niece was knocked over by a staff member and my son wasnt allowed on many items because of his age! Why charge that price when he cant even play on most of it?! We will certainly not be going back, we are disgusted at what passes for a successful business these days!

Located on the lovely seafront at Sunderland Go Banana’s is a soft play /activity place for children aged up to about 14. The place isn’t huge but it’s big enough to hold about 100 kids. There are the usual climbing frames and ball pool. They also have soft play shapes. There is a large seating and eating area for parents to sit and watch their children. We visted for a childs birthday party. I wouldn’t recommend it. The food was horrible. The chicken nuggets were not pure chicken breast. They were stringy and tough. The beans looked as though they had been cooked and then re-cooked. The juice might as well have been coloured water as there was no flavour. The staff were just as pants. They kept leaving the party room, so didn’t notice that all the children were finished eating(or not eating at all as in my childs case). I’m not sure how much it cost but it would have been at least £5 a head. At the end of the party the children were all given party bags. In the girls bags there was 1 packet of sweets and a cheap fake barbie doll.
