I have been a private maths and English tutor in Sunderland for nearly 15 years. I look at each individual student, establish right from the start what your childs needs are and guide them along an individual learning path designed for your child, rather than what everyone else is studying.

Your child will follow their own unique programme and receive maths and/​or English tuition that:

History

Established in 1997.

As a teacher I was asked to help with a little extra maths and English tuition and started with a small group of students round my dining room table once a week.

In 1997 I had a waiting list so rented premises. I established my Monday class in St Chads Church hall in 1999 and we have been meeting there ever since.

My students come each Monday, after school, and work on their individually set work and then continue their studies at home, each day.

I expect my students to make a concentrated effort for about 15 minutes each day in order to really get to understand what they are working on before I introduce something new.

This way my students are working at their true potential, and don’t get bored.
