Always feel a little sad when i visit a place like this that must have been the hub of a rural community, now long gone. That said, it is a really nice little restaurant! Food is divine and service excellent for a ‘pub’ — well worth a visit. For foodies only though, … at £3.15, … yes THREEPOUNDS fifteen a pint, it ain;t a place for a few beers.

Worcestershire dining pub of the year. Close to Junctions 3 and 4 of the M5 at Holy Cross in the village of Clent. Well organised and atmospheric pub restaurant with well kept gardens and room to eat outside on a good day. Series of small rooms so good for private dining but I suspect can get busy. Menu is varied with good choices and daily specials Food is good in both quality and quantity. Service is friendly, efficient and helpful. Good value lunches and one hour turnaround business lunches although this is the sort of place where its best to stay a while! Lots of football photos. Apparently the chef is chef to the England team! Really nice place with excellent food and a good selection of wines, most at restaurant prices. Excellent Gavi! Highly recommended. Excellent just off the motorway place for lunch as well as first class local eatery. Hard to fault!
