Goldenhill Oatcakes

These are some of the nicest oatcakes I have ever tried. And in response to the comment about warm oatcakes in bags, everyone had the option to wait for them to cool down or have them put into a bag warm.

Had warm, plain oatcakes put into a plastic bag!!!
Utter joke.
I NEVER eat filled oatcakes where the fillings are cooked ‘in the back place’ Why cant these places cook food infront of us???

Very cheap and lovely oatcakes.
They also make barm and stotties breads, and the breakfast sandwiches are unbeatable.
Having the newsagent next door means you can pop in, order you food and then nip next door for a paper.
The food, and especially oatcakes is always made to a high standard, served hot, and they are happy to make whatever concoction of food you want on your oatcake, no matter how odd!
you can also buy packs of oatcakes to eat at home as and when you feel like itwhich is quite often!

I buy these every few weeks, and love them. Place your order, pop next door for my paper and pick them up. Delicious

I frequently visit Kidsgrove and have only been here a few times. The prices are very cheap and there is good quality food. The inside of the place isn’t exactly somewhere Gordon Ramsay but enter yet it is a family place which welcomes anyone. Something which fascinates me is the ‘bellybuster’ if you have not experienced anything like this I suggest you do so if you have a very large stomach! It consists of a massive foot long baguette with a filling of literally a full english breakfast! If you can polish that off then you are one for the record books. They sell the traditional staffordshire oatcakes in both freshly made form and pre packaged. Nothing special but if you find yourself needing a hangover cure or cannot be bothered to make yourself a meal I suggest you pay them a visit!
