Coffee Island in Stockport is located near the Post Office in Merseway shopping centre. It is tucked away from the main shopping area and serves a great range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and hot food. It is a bit on the scruffy side, and the staff aren’t great, but the service is ok and the food is decent. Cheap and cheerful if that is what you are after. However, I would not recommend their iced coffees, they are poor and have no taste. Best leave those to Starbucks and Café Nero.
