Bohemia Holistics provides an individual service, a full consultation will be provided before any first treatment is offered. Bohemia Holistics offers a holistic assessment and may discuss with clients how they may best achieve good health both from treatments and during every day life. Valuable aftercare advice is provided. Bohemia Holistics sells beautiful organic products from the Neal’s Yard Remedies range to any clients who are interested in maintaining good care of their skin. Bohemia Holistics can also offer Neal’s Yard ‘At Home’ parties to customers in the local area who may wish to enjoy an evening with friends. Customers will be able to sample products from the range, learn about the products and indulge in some mini treatments.

History

Established in 2012.

I have worked for the last 18 years in the Social Care setting and have been interested in holistic therapies for many years. In 2010 I decided to become a Holistic Therapist and began attending evening school to gain the qualifications that I required. During this time I began to feel very passionate about Complementary therapies and their importance in today’s society. I have a passion for providing an alternative option to people who may be suffering physical symptoms and require some help in alleviating the symptoms or require valuable relaxation time.

Reflexology and massage dates back 5,000 years and has been used for centuries by eastern communities to alleviate health problems. Both Reflexology and massage became a reputable means of treatment in this country during the 1900’s.

Since becoming a Complementary Therapist I have been able to seek new opportunities. Since February I have been working in a voluntary capacity at Beechwood Cancer Care Centre in Stockport. I work one and a half days a week providing a valuable service to cancer patients, offering complementary therapies as a tool to relaxation. This work has provided me with beneficial experience of which I can put into practice with private clients.

I currently work with private clients during times stated. I can offer a mobile service. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies and I am currently working towards a bridging course in Reflexology to enable me to become a member of the Associstion of Reflexologists. I am VTCT qualified.
