Stanmore London Underground Station

Nice to have taxis, buses and shops nearby to this isolated station. overground jubilee line direct to wembley or London (albeit sloooow) but trains are clean and parking plenty.

Jubilee Cars operate a very well organised and professional service in the Stanmore area.
They have a accounts with various small and large businesses, hospitals, hotels etc in the area.
Although they are favoured by businesses they also take their service to individual members of the public very seriously too.

its a tube station :| what is there to say about it. i guess i like it because it is overground and my nearest tubestation! but also because it is clean well it does get cleaned a lot, i always see lots of cleaners, and there is always staff around to help and the machines are usually in good working order. there are two platforms .(currently working on building more i believe) and the trains are usually on time and very frequent.

Located at the end of the Jubilee Line the Stanmore Tube Station can be reached by foot from the center of Stanmore in just a half mile. It can also be accessed by the 142 or H12 Bus. It has a large parking lot which fills up quickly during the week and on Wembley Park game days.
It has accessible access, though it is no easy feat for the disabled. The disabled access can only be used from the parking lot. If arriving via bus or on foot you will have to use the three tiers of stairs that go directly through the station or use a few less stairs that can be acessed near the bus stand.
The station is currently having a third platform added. It appears to be nearly complete although the signalling system updgrade is slated to continue through 2008. These upgrades are slated to deliver service that is 18% fasterwe’ll believe it when it is operational and working.
Because it is the end of the line, there is a large rail yard for the storage of tube trains at night. The first train south in the morning begins at 5:20 a.m.
