Codfather Fish & Chips

I would never eat any of the food here again.
Some years ago this had a great reputation, it’s must have been sold, as it’s awful now.
They are very sneaky as you can only buy large cod and haddock, who buys large fish?
Also the chips were so bad I told them I didn’t want them. They had been sat in a serving hatch and looked so aneamic and dry. I waited until someone else was served as I thought surely they aren’t going to serve those, as they looked like they had been sat there ages. I could’nt beleive it when they served them to this poor man. That’s when I cancelled mine.
The haddock I had was only wrapped in one piece of paper so when I got to the car they had driped all over my trousers, there was so much grease on the batter I couldn’t get it off the paper.
To top everything my partner and I was ill after eating this.
The staff are miserable and very sloppy.
Give me the fish and chip shop at Eaton Socon anyday.

great local fish and chip shop which does some lovely chips and curry sauce. The prices are reasonable and food is always piping hot. Parking can be a bit of a problem though so handy to take someone with you.

I am not entirely sure about the hype surrounding this place. Its seems at have a very good recently, but we found it to be average. Not bad at all, but given all the rave reviews we hear, we were a little disappointed. We were expecting something much much better than we got. Still, the fish and chips were had tasted nice, so i do not want to complain too much!
