Sutton Oak Welsh Chapel

Is one of the cutest chapel’s that I have come across. The door and the pretty decoration around the door arch and windows are key features that make it sweet. A Grade II listed building nestled in the sleepy town of Sutton, just a few minutes drive from St. Helens Town Centre. The Chapel is currently in the process of being refurbished, so a sort of no go at the minute, but keep an eye on their website and you can visit when it is open again. Although if you contact Paul Jones in advance, you can still get to visit the Chapel. What makes the chapel that little bit different? Well, whilst there are a number of Welsh Chapels in the area, this is the last example of one which is still in use as a church.
