History

Established in 2004.

Nugent Education began in 2004 and has a proven track record (see website) of providing fantastic arts workshops and activities.

The company was started by two brothers, one a Key Skills lecturer and education coordinator, the other a poet and rapper.

We started with rapping and literacy, before moving on to cover all the urban arts (graffiti art, break dancing, street dance, djing), then added creative, visual, and cultural and performing arts.

The company has gone from strength to strength. Nugent Education now provides bespoke arts activities and workshops to hundreds of schools, youth clubs, and children’s charities and so on.

CRB checked artists travel to and deliver workshops and activities in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Cumbria, Flintshire, and Birmingham and across the UK.

Previous positions have included working as a College lecturer and coordinator teaching sociology, criminology, Key Skills literacy and ESOl. Also, in sales and account management.
