Wooden outdoor furniture was all the rage in the 1990s, Europe’s appetite for teak, red balau, yellow balau, karri and iroko garden furniture was insatiable but why did the customer’s taste change? 2 reasons: Longevity and Maintenance, wood rots, wood harbors dirt and grime, wood needs constant oiling and still cracks outside — sounds familiar?

The market demanded an alternative and found aluminium and rattan garden furniture. If you need outdoor furniture that is comfortable, stylish, has zero maintenance and is relatively light but robust, Outdoor Edge can supply it!
