very disappointed, bmw went in to have central locking fixed, picked it up paid £650, drove home to find stereo, clock not working and a warning light on display. Turned round and took it back. They could not rectify it that day. Took another day off work next week, they fixed the stereo but then insisted that they could not fix the clock on display or stereo and that it had never worked when car was dropped off to them! Their technician had commented about me not changing it when clocks had gone forward so it was clearly working when they took car in. However, I had already paid and they insisted. They never once apologised for breaking stereo when central locking was fixed, their customer service was dire, they acted like I was a problem when I took it back for stereo to be fixed. Need lessons in customer service and you can’t call a customer a liar when you break something in their car. Avoid them like the plague or write down everything that works in your car before dropping it in and check them when you oick it up before leaving. Would never take my car there again!!!

Work — Took an e90 in for an MOT and queried a warning light on the dashboard.
Car passed it’s MOT but they charged me nearly £300 for re-​attaching a cable which is why the warning light came on.
No courtesy call to warn me of cost, when I had asked for an update.
Very rude response from Barry when I questioned the price, saying…
«if I query something then they take that contractually as agreeing to go ahead and do the work and if they do find a fault then they’ll go ahead and fix the problem without asking, incase I go elsewhere for a cheaper quote»

Well priced garage that specialise in BMW, Mercedes and now VAG group.
Their service for VAG do not invalidate warranty (so I was told) and costs about £60 cheaper than Wayside St Albans. All the usual checks that VAG do are carried out and service trip is also reset.
Friendly, so would recommend.
