Cafe Medo

Café Medo is a pleasant little café on Eastbank Street that offers its customers a comfortable café setting in which they can enjoy a variety of hot and cold refreshments.
Unlike a lot of cafes in the area, Café Medo is a good place go for dinner as well as breakfast or lunch, with their menu including burgers, pizzas and jacket potatoes as well as chef’s specials like corn beef hash pie and peppered mackerel fillets. All these hot dishes are available at very reasonable and cheap prices considering the food on offer is good home cooking.
As well as hot meals, Café Medo also offers the usual selection of sandwiches, baguettes and kid’s meals, as well as a decent selection of breakfast options if you get there early enough.
The staff there are friendly and efficient, meaning you won’t have to wait too long for your food and the café itself is large enough to not feel cramped whilst maintaining a cosy dining atmosphere.
