Meet the Business Owner
Alison B.
Business Owner
I began with a sporty and creative background, in my teens an Essex & Eastern region gymnastics squad member and champion, later studying fine art, design and life drawing at Southend College and Norwich School of Art. These experiences brought an understanding of anatomy, physiology and range of motion, whilst a subsequent graphic designer role, seated and computer-based, opened my eyes to the pitfalls of a ‘fixed’ position, the potential for loss of range of movement and function, how soft tissue tensions and restrictions can impact both physical health and emotional wellbeing. Circumstances around my father’s ill health also helped me to recognise the value of an holistic, person-centred, complementary healthcare approach, the important role stress plays with regard to mind, body and spirit. I now tailor my therapies to support my clients’ specific needs, helping to facilitate their wellbeing goals.
