History

Established in 1885.

The Titanic was previously called ‘The Queen’ and was frequented by some of those who worked on RMS Titanic prior to her maiden voyage. Later named ‘The Endeavour’ it has remained a warm and inviting local pub. Recently the pub has undergone a rebrand to commemorate its historic links with RMS Titanic. On the 4th April 2012, exactly 100 years to the day from the arrival of the great liner, the Pub was christened ‘The Titanic’ and continues to hold connections with the current landlord being a relative of a passenger along with some of the locals still loyal to this day.
