It’s. Uni pub which has a £1.99 happy hours from 4 or 5 pm onwards to 10 or something like that, I’ve only been on a Friday night so can’t confirm if all nights are like this but went there close to Christmas and the room was open with free pool but bar closed
Does simple food like pizzas etc which are quite affordable and tasty
Great place for post work beer and pizza and pool of you work in campus or are a student starting a night out
Pool table is relatively flat table and reasonable straight cues plus fairly cheap at 60 pence a game
Can get busy when uni in full swing

The Stag’s Head is the main student bar for the University of Southampton. You have to be a student, or accompanied by a student to get in.
The bar isn’t huge, and is generally fairly crowded so you may have to keep an eye out for a seat. The drinks are nice and cheap however, and Thursday nights are Karaōke!
