Blue Ocean Testing Services was started in 2014 to meet the increasing demand for Portable Appliance Testing in the area. All test engineers are fully qualified electrical engineers and have extensive knowledge and experience.

Business Owner

Having been made redundant as a Supply Chain Analyst at B&Q in 2008, I decided to use the redundancy money to retrain as an Electrical Engineer. I had always been interested in DIY at home and after working for a local electrical contractor, D&M Electrical Ltd, for 2 years, I decided to set up my own electrical testing business to meet the demands of other businesses in the area. Blue Ocean Testing Services has now been successfully running since the start of 2014.
