al Covo is an independent, private and peaceful massage, male waxing and grooming, complimentary holistic therapy, naturopathy, weight loss and spa treatment suite in the heart of Southampton with free parking. You will be the only guest here as this is a personal business, without salon frontage, that is open by appointment only, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and occasionally at weekends.

Treatments, training and products are offered by me, Steve, at the suite, at your on site venue, in a Spanish farmhouse retreat and a rural Cypriot retreat. The philosophy is simple, Relax and Love your Body! I offer a free consultation on arrival at your first visit, over the phone or via email.

History

Established in 2002.

Born in Worcestershire, and educated to second (Masters) degree in Geography, I worked in a corporate company before being inspired more fully into well-​being from travels to the Eastern and Tropical countries of the Philippines, India, Kenya, the Maldives, Mauritius and Mozambique.

Having worked at Chewton Glen Hotel in the New Forest, I am now happily living with a partner above my own treatment, product and training suite in Southampton, Hampshire. I continue to build my holistic therapy portfolio, currently practicing Tantra and Ayurveda.

I gained an understanding of spas, treatments and clients along my way, and have developed this into my own practice, al Covo, to which I welcome you warmly. I pride myself on al Covo’s warmth, peaceful aura, hygiene and thoroughness.
