Red Hut

Red Hut is one of a few chip shops on Ocean Road (a street which holds host to many different types of takeaways and restaurants). They have recently bought the building next door and it has been converted into a restaurant-​type thingie for people to eat their chips in the summer time. Their fish and chips are really nice portions are adequate for one person anyway, the fish is nice and they also have quite a large menu of other fried items. Their smoked battered sausages are lovely! They have one rival on Ocean Road — won’t mention names but the rival is located further up Ocean Road in a more prime location for people who have just come from the beach, however during peak time, you’re probably best off going to The Red Hut as the queues tend to be a lot shorter! And there’s not that much difference in price or quality.
