TGI Fridays

I recently attended this TGI’s with a friend and was deeply unimpressed. After being told that the restaurant was full due to a large group booking we were directed too a bar table for food.
The table had several empty glasses and plates while we were seated. The waiter handed us sticky food stained menus and advised us too order at the bar, and left leaving the table with dirty plates and glasses.
I made a selection and went up to the bar too order, I waited 10 minutes for a barman to take my order as there was nobody behind the bar. I placed my order and asked for my table to be cleared, and was told to speak with a waiter. After finally clearing the table myself I received my order which was incorrect. It was at this point I advised that I wanted to complain and was told to contact customer services and I decided to leave the restaurant. I will not be going again.

I’ve eaten here before with my partner and family, and found the quality of both the food and service quite poor. It’s not particularly child orientated and they seemed to view the kids as an inconvenience. However, we went for pre-​cinema cocktails (without kids, of course) and the service was much better at the bar! The barmaid advised me on the cocktails and prevented a possible disappointment, which I was grateful for! I ended up with a gorgeous cocktail called a Strawberry Shortcake, with strawberries, Amaretto (my all time favourite!) and lots of lovely vanilla ice cream. Lovely! So all in all, I probably wouldn’t eat here again but for a special cocktail, it is just fine :)

Typically American themed, this bar always seems to be buzzing with excitement and life. The bar is located in the centre with flat screen tv’s showing sport. A vast selection of cocktails — they now have Singapore Sling on the menu. Smoothies, milkshakes and Ice cream cocktails available. Beers on draught and large range of spirits. Plenty of seating surrounding this bar and the menu is pretty awesome with grills, burgers and platters to share. Outside the Touchwood balcony can be seen and is ideal for smokers to use.

This place reminds me of a dive bar in detroit central. The layout is a typical american style bar and cool.
They serve bud, stella and becks on draught and also have same adams beer.
They do almost every cocktail apart from the Singapore sling, was surprised they make my fav cocktail caipirinha! which taste awesome…
For cocktails and beers this place rocks! the food menu looks great with almost everything glazed in Jack Daniels.

Like any other TGI’s you’ve ever been into, but this one’s in Touchwood.
The standard menu offers decent choice, the bar offers drinkable cocktails and the fries are tasty.
It’s a good place for a children’s birthday, the service is a bit slow (even when they aren’t busy) to make it a viable option for a speedy lunch.

This branch has late opening hours around 11 to midnight most nights from what I have noticed. Monday to Thursday they do take 2 for £9.99 where you can have a main and starter/​desert. Portion sizes are big. I would recommend making a booking for a large group or weekend evenings
