Seaspray Fish & Chip Shop

They have been around for years and very good customer service. Sadly though, for the price you would expect better tasting batter and this is not the case.
To expensive for average fish and chips.

This is a huge fish and chip shop down Stratford Road. Everytime I’ve been in there have been loads of people so it’s obviously very popular. The good thing is there are a few tables and chairs so you can sit whilst you wait or eat your food in the shop. There’s also a fruit machine and TV to entertain you as you wait/​eat.
The portions are huge. One portion of chips does 2 adults in our house. They always have some good lunchtime offers on where you can get some chips and fish cheaper than at teatime, there always seem to be lots of workmen in there having this deal!
The staff are always really chatty. The annoying this is lack of parking out the front so sometimes you have to park up the road and walk back to the chippy.

Seaspray is in my opinion the nicest chip shop in Shirley. Although it is usually hard to find a parking space, the staff are helpful warm and friendly.

Long opening hours, not much parking around the shop though. Good quality and tasty chips. Plenty of meal deal options to save some money.

If you are lucky enough to get a car parking space out the front this is one of the nicest chippy’s around Shirley in my opinion. They always taste fresh and have good portion sizes. The staff are friendly and it has long opening hours.
Has been a while since I have had food from here now but have bought some for family and they still smell lovely!
