My wife and I hired a car from Practical Car Hire through Atlas Choice.
My car hire agreement stated the drop-​off office would close at 7pm (I have a scanned copy of this and can provide on request), I arrived at 6pm and the shutters to the office were closed and there was no key drop ANYWHERE! I was stranded here for 2 hours and I needed to leave to catch my flight from a different airport. Nobody would answer the phone to ANY office, this is totally unacceptable, ridiculous and unprofessional.
I had to leave the keys with the bowling alley next door and convincing the manager to allow me to do so.
I also missed my bus connections that I had pre-​booked and had to pay $ 50 out of pocket and wasted a HUGE amount of time.
I would like you to look into this, I am expecting you to return my $ 750 to my credit card which was the rental deposit and also refund my out of pocket costs for your negligence. My wife and I had a TERRIBLE experience. I am willing to take this matter further if I receive no reply or little help.
