The Bedroom

I disagree with the previous comment on here about The Bedroom. I don’t think for a single minute it’s trying to be something its not! It’s a pub trying to survive in these times. 99p for a pint — and on a friday night — is excellent value for money!
It makes no claims to be something is not. Just a pub wanting to survive!
The gents toilets are in a bad state of repair i must agree.
Personally, I think you’re comments are totally uncalled for! I’ve been going in there, week in, week out, for the past 3−4months and I’ve always found it clean. Not dirty. I also think that the manager and the staff there work damned hard. I’m under no illusions when I go in there — but I like the prices and I like the atmosphere every time I go in!

The Bedroom is a pub that is trying too hard to be cool and sophisticated but instead falls well short of the mark. Instead it is dirty, common and, when I last visited, the upstairs smelt of urine. Not the sort of environment in which I’d want to stop and enjoy a few drinks with my friends. The Bedroom seems to attract a younger clientele so if you’re over the age of 25, you might find yourself feeling a bit of an OAP here. The music was loud and decent enough but it just felt dirty and common and offered nothing special to make me want to go back for more.
