We launched on the 4th of July (of course) 2015 and are already a hit with most of the critics. Come and Taste Our Wieners which are made from 100% British meat, prime cuts only.

As creator of CANDOGS, Seb’s love of food and America were a perfect match to start something like CANDOGS. Taking inspiration from hot dog joints in New York, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Austin and all over, Seb likes to think that we are London’s Hot Dog Joint.

Absolutely sh! t… Miserable staff, that when you try to engage in conversation they just respond with grunts and moans. The hot dogs are cold, the atmosphere is non existing and the prices are ridiculous (considering what you get). You are better off going to sainsburys and buying some frankfurters and rolling them in saw dust, then consume them. I will never go back as I’m sure prolonged conversation with the staff will lead to medical depression. Avoid at all costs.

As a vegetarian, I haven’t had a hot dog in ages, mainly because because it’s so hard to find a good veggie one (or to find them at all). So I’ve decided to test the Can dogs for that.
And I wasn’t let down. The sausage itself I think was made by Quorn, which is normally not my first choice, but will pickles, veggies, dried onion and the sauces it was pretty satisfying quick lunch.
For meat eaters, there is choice of beef, port or chicken sausage with lots of interesting toppings like halloumi or avocado, so you can completely customize your dog.
The place is tiny, with only a few spaced to sit, so expect just ‘grab & go.‘
The portions are just right.
Some members of the staff could be bit more enthusiastic and smiley and the whole experience would get 5 starts from me.

I am traditionally a slow eater — I have never eaten this fast before in my life!!!
So delicious, don’t pass this place without heading in.
Staff are lovely and super accommodating. There are stools to eat inside, and the door between them and the bar next door is open so you can have a cheeky cider!
