Provide computer support services, repairs and training on Windows PCs, Apple Macs, iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones.

Services include broadband setup and installation and fault-​finding, making your connections faster, virus removal, PC health checks, upgrades and all forms of repairs. We repair laptop screens, motherboards and power sockets and adapters

You can visit us at our workshop/​training centre or we can visit you, whichever suits you best. Service is available throughout Dorset, Somerset and west Wiltshire, including, Blandford Forum, Sturminster Newton, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Warminster, Tisbury, Wimborne, Sherborne, Yeovil, Templecombe, Wincanton, Dorchester and surrounding areas.

History

Established in 2009.

This business started from a love of all things technical and a desire to take the frustration out of computers. Talking to our customers we have found that some of the more well known PC businesses have either sold or tried to sell them expensive hardware and software that is often not really needed or wanted and ends up unopened in a drawer. Our approach is to not over complicate things by having systems geared for NASA but to have a set up that suits our customers individual needs and is cost effective.

Currently we have two technicians on the road plus administrative support.

Business Owner

Tecfixers is run by Clive who has a BSc degree in Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science and has more than 25 years experience in technical and senior management roles in the high technology industry. Clive is also a certified life coach, so is well equipped to help and train people in the sometimes confusing and often frustrating area of computers. Having worked in the electronics industry since PCs were first introduced, Clive combines experience with a passion for the work– keeping abreast of all the latest information and up-​to-​date solutions. «Often when I arrive at a customer’s house or business they are ready to throw the PC out of the window. By the time I leave the PC is either up and running or we have agreed a plan of action. There’s always a solution for a troublesome PC and so far it has not been to throw it out of the window!»
