I‘ve only dealt with Bardwells on-line. Shop‘s too far away (unfortunately). The service and telephone queries (after ordering) regarding specs of various components was spot-on. My orders appeared to have been dispatched on the day of ordering. I always recommend Bardwells to my fellow electronic/radio enthusiast friends. Long may they prosper.

I have been visting bardwells since 1984… for a short time i did not go but then when i returned to the alladins cave of capaciters, fuses, leads, plugs, diodes, clips, cds and paraphonalia you can dream of… i walk in for one thing and come out with a dozen items… and still have change for a bag ‘o’ chips i hope this place will carry on for years to come.

Bardwells is a legendary place that any person with an interest in electronics in the area should know about!
It’s an Alladins cave of goodies, ranging from simple connectors and components to gadgets and computers.
You’ll always get a good personal, very knowledgeable and friendly service from this shop and its very rare that you come away without being able to get what you need at a reasonable price.
I think they’ve taken a hit on custom since the emergence and growth in popularity of the internet, but if you need something quickly and/or would like advice alongside it, Bardwells is definitely the place to go!
